Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: July 2026

The short version

KaptenReviews participates in the Amazon Associates Program. When you click certain links on this site and make a qualifying purchase on Amazon, we earn a small commission. You pay the same price either way.

The full version

KaptenReviews is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, and affiliated Amazon stores.

This means:

  • Some links on this site include a tracking tag (our Associates ID).
  • If you click that link and buy something from Amazon within the session window, we earn a commission.
  • The commission is paid by Amazon, not added to your price.
  • You do not pay more by using our links.

What this does NOT mean

  • We do not accept payment from product manufacturers to recommend their products.
  • We do not receive free products in exchange for reviews.
  • We do not rank products higher because they earn a higher commission.
  • We never recommend a product we believe is genuinely bad for our readers.

How we handle prices

Amazon prices change constantly. We never display a current price on this site because any price we show would be outdated within hours or days. Every product listing includes a link to Amazon where you can see the real, current price before making any decision.

Our commitment: If our affiliate relationship ever compromised the honesty of a recommendation, we would remove the link before removing the honesty.

Which stores we link to

  • Amazon.com (US) via the Amazon Associates Program
  • Amazon.co.uk (UK) via the Amazon Associates Programme (when applicable)

FTC compliance

This disclosure complies with the US Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). We disclose our affiliate relationship on every page that contains affiliate links.
